These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lynx AI's website, dashboard, and AI assistant service (the "Service"), operated by Lynx AI ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or installing our widget on your website, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Lynx AI provides an AI-powered chat assistant that reads and indexes content from a website you connect (via Shopify credentials or by crawling a URL you provide), and answers visitor questions based on that content. The Service is offered under three plans — Cloud AI, Embedded AI, and White-Label — each with the features, re-scan frequency, and price described on our pricing page at the time of purchase.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating a dashboard account and connecting a website. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and any API/widget keys confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Your content and website

You represent that you have the right to connect the website(s) you submit to Lynx and to grant us permission to access, crawl, index, and process that content in order to provide the Service. You retain all ownership of your content. We only use it to operate the Service for you — we do not use your content to train third-party models beyond what is required to generate the AI assistant's responses via our AI processing provider.

You are solely responsible for the legality of the content on your website and for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable law, including in relation to any regulated products or services you may sell.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Plans are billed monthly in advance via PayPal. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle unless canceled before the renewal date. See our Refund Policy for details on cancellations and refunds.

The assistant is designed to answer based only on content it has indexed from your website, but AI systems can occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete responses. You are responsible for reviewing how the assistant represents your business and for correcting your source content if you notice recurring inaccuracies. Lynx AI is not liable for decisions made by visitors based on assistant responses.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and performant but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and features (including scan frequency and support responsiveness) vary by plan as described on our pricing page.

8. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from PayPal or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or unlawful use.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lynx AI shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
